Formerly National Accounts Manager for the UK and North America focused on gaining new business and expanding current business with major multiples including Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s in the UK and Costco, Trader Joe’s and Wegmans in the United States. Project managed the commissioning and installation and of a new £500,000 intelligent cutting and packing line including assisting with grant applications with Rural Grants and Funding –DEFRA (RDPE).• Implemented processes to reduce manufacturing costs within the dairy by £188,375.• Reduced technical and laboratory costs by 54% • Recruited new key members of the senior management team.• Managed and planned the growth in the blended cheese department by >300% in a 12 month period, from 100 tonnes a year to almost 350 tonnes.• Reviewed quality and technical processes on site improving cheese recipes to improve, flavour, body, consistency and yield.• Passed BRC V6 audits with only a single minor non-conformance.• Instrumental in acquiring new accounts with Tesco and grew Sainsbury’s account from £120,000 to £2.8million. • Reviewed waste management procedures i.e. recycling and review of contracts reducing costs by 55%.
