Learning a variety of skills whilst at ACE Winches and Macduff Shipyards including, MIG / MAG welding, TIG welding - mild steel and stainless steel, plasma cutting, working with oxy acetylene burning gear, working with technical drawings and fabricating roles.Working on rotation for 10 months in my 1st year spending a month in each of these departments, fitting, hydraulics, stores, electrical, paint, maintenance, machining, service, mobilisation and de-mobilisation.Working flexibly to accommodate the changing needs of the business, working long hours and taking on additional responsibility.Ensuring quality assurance of all work scopes are maintained, and all work is performed in accordance with company policies and the Health and Safety at work act.Completing all activities in a timely accurate and efficient manner in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
