My role as Senior Supervisor were the following tasks and more • To manage, mentor and coach all Security Officers to ensure team performance is thorough and professional at all times. This will include conducting team briefings, appraisals and investigations where deemed appropriate. Ownership of site security operations. Ensure high standards of performance/professionalism by shift teams from day shift and night shift. Ownership of all operational incidents/emergencies during shift, ensuring appropriate and professional management and reporting/escalation of issues (to USS and/or on site senior management, as required). • Produce clear, logical and well-written operational reports to required timeframes. • To be fully conversant with site systems and procedures. • Support USS and site management teams in identifying and implementing service improvements. • Personal development and performance appraisal of Security Officers including welfare issues • Train and Coach Security team and new officers on site. • Ensuring all training documentation is current and up to date • To seek responsibility in the Security Manager's absence and to ensure continuation of service. • To build relationships with internal and external customers to enhance the security provision.
