I began my career in the Insurance Industry on leaving school aged 17 in 1989 and have worked for mainly local brokers in and around the Staffordshire region. I worked in the Personal Lines department for a good number of years and then moved into Commercial Insurance approximately 15 years ago. My previous employer, Howell Shone was acquired by the Jelf Group plc in 2013 and I now work as a Commercial Account Executive. I have just celebrated 20 years of continued service which in today's climate I feel is quite an achievement. I currently manage a portfolio of approximately 200 clients, ranging from sole traders, partnerships to limited companies turning over considerable amounts. Over the years I have built up very good relationships with my clients and have earnt their trust by dealing with their business in a professional, efficient manner. I pride myself on my friendly but professional approach and relationship with clients. I am competent in all aspects of commercial insurance but as we are now part of the Jelf Group I have access to specialist schemes, bespoke products and greater buying power which sometimes are not available to other brokers.
