  - During my placement in SAP, I worked in the Center of Expertise (CoE) where I learned how to work in a team to develop SAPUI5 applications according to customer demand. - The role was mainly focused around optimising a customer’s system performance, whether that be database optimisation, identifying expensive SQL or identifying bottlenecks. - Gained knowledge on performing a CQC (Customer Quality Check) Service or responding to an incident from a customer. There were periods of high demand when a customer would be in a critical phase of escalation and this could simply be due to not having a fully optimised database or due to having expensive SQL. - Worked with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Suite and SAP NetWeaver Application Server. - Work with the database was done primarily with the SAP Proprietary language - Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). - Delivered presentations of data models to management who would then give feedback on further technical implementations required. - Responsible for communicating any ongoing issues with management. - Carried out research of solutions to company problems. This contributed towards my skills for working within a team which enabled better communication. I also consulted with various employees in our department to gain insight on particular areas of interest. Show less
