  Soccer referee for Long Island Junior Soccer League, grade 7. I got into this while my children played; they retired-I stayed with it. I get out in the fresh air, make a bit of money and get away from the wife. It's good for my body and my mind. Being around young people keeps my mind youthful; keeping combative groups working together is what I enjoy and melds well with my carreer in Operations.

  Right now I'm consulting at NYSE deinstalling communications hardware in preparation for the move of the NYC site to NJ. The position will last as long as there are devices to be deinstalled so my time is limited. I would like to get back into CommOPS in a management position for a short time assignment, no more than 5 years where I could make a difference.

  Currently working in Change Management for all of NYSE North America though I'd rather be back in Communications Operations where I spent the great majority of my career. I loved the challenge of anticipating problems and resolving them, of leading an intensely dedicated and loyal group of technicians in a pressure filled enviornment and delivering changes on-time using the resources at hand.

  Managed 3 shifts of technicians responsible for NYSE Production Networks at contoller rooms at NYSE (11 Wall/20 Broad Streets) and the Host sites. Interacted directly with Vice Presidents of Computer Operations for resolving issues and making changes. It was the most exciting time of my career and what I miss greatly.
