  WaverleyTBS is a national FMCG wholesale business supplying wines, spirits, keg and cask beers to independent regional wholesalers and direct to the licensed trade. The RDC in Hemel Hempstead is 130,000 sq ft bonded facility with a storage capacity of 6000 pallets with a stock value of 9 million pounds. It has a daily throughput of up to 32,000 units. Delivering to 3 regional depots and 8 transit points in the south of England for onward delivery direct to customer. Key responsibilities Accountable for 3 shift managers, 4 warehouse supervisors and 85 warehouse operatives. Responsible for 42 pieces of MHE. Ensuring agreed performance measures and standards are maintained at all times. Ensuring OTIF exceeds 95% Capability planning ensuring operational man hours are in line with daily throughput ensuring cost to serve is held at the agreed units per man hour. Ensure all warehouse activities run according to plan and budget. Forecast planning of seasonal changes and anticipated events which will increase volume. Lead and develop direct reports. Succession planning. Develop a culture where change, performance and adding value are the norm. Conduct regular appraisals and discipline where necessary. Ensure compliance is maintained at all times for Health and Safety, agreed operational processes site Security and HMRC compliant. Budgetary responsibility of 6 Million.
