  In 2005 I started Megger in the PCB test department and gained much experience in assembling and testing PCB’s to a very high standard, I was also trained to use and program AOI machines to inspect surface mount assemblies. While performing these roles I also moved into final instrument assembly/testing of Megger telecommunications products such as the TDR/CFL family, SCT1000 and HT1000. In 2015 I was moved into the Megger SMD department using JUKI 2070/2080 pick and place machines and… In 2005 I started Megger in the PCB test department and gained much experience in assembling and testing PCB’s to a very high standard, I was also trained to use and program AOI machines to inspect surface mount assemblies. While performing these roles I also moved into final instrument assembly/testing of Megger telecommunications products such as the TDR/CFL family, SCT1000 and HT1000. In 2015 I was moved into the Megger SMD department using JUKI 2070/2080 pick and place machines and was trained as a technician. The department manufactures surface mount assemblies for Megger products at Dover and abroad. As part of this team I was trained in adopting lean manufacturing techniques to improve the flexibility and efficiency of the department and have enabled improvements that have helped the department increase its output, from 35 million placements a year in 2016 to just under 50 million in 2019.My experience and roles include:• Creating surface mount programs.• Fault finding and maintaining JUKI 2070/2080 pick and place machines.• PCB assembly IPC class 3 standard • PCB rework IPC class 3 standard• Creating AOI programs• Surface mount oven reflow profiling• Creating and implementing FTY improvements• FTY/Downtime data collection and analysis• Lean manufacturing NVQ level 2/3• Process management operations NVQ level 2In addition to these roles I am currently a team leader managing half of the departments staff as well as managing workload and priorities to achieve departmental targets.
