SamPaul was my first job, and I started at 14 years old every summer. I work alongside my Dad taking in everything he's taught me over the years. I started out with heavy lifting, spackle touchups, sanding, and mainly learning at a young age hard labor. My hours were, and still are from 7 am to 4 pm and I work 4-5 days a week in the summer. From what my Dad has taught my over the years I can go into any building, and get the job done whether it be inventory, sanding, spackle touch ups, repairs big or small, and firecock. This job helped me get my build, and is a great workout, but also learning business in construction and how things are done. Show less

At Vics I started out working as a busboy once a week, and worked my way up to one of the head bussers working 4-5 days a week. Cleaning tables, closing the restaurant, taking a leadership role of the new busboys or ones who would slack off. Further into the new year I moved into the kitchen making pies but also heading back and fourth to help out the other busboys. This job not only taught me the responsibilities of a successful restaurant, but leadership, and how everyone depends on one another as a team to get the job done. Here I also provided customer service to whoever had questions or needed something. Show less

      • May 2018 - Jan 2019

Chicken Holiday was my first application job that I got on my own, and this job really got me out of my comfort zone with communication. Whether it were deliveries or walk-ins, I was always around the customers. This was also my first job working at a fast food, and I did just that right at the start. From frying the chicken to grilling the ribs which I have never worked any of these machines before. I learned how to do everything at Chicken Holiday within two months, and because it was during the summer it was busy from opening to closing, almost every day. I worked 4-5 days a week from 5 to sometimes 8 hours a day. At the end of the day I would clean either the cooker or the rib machine, sweep, and mop the floors. Show less
