Delivered Naval Base security, waterfront support, personnel support (including management of the rehabilitation pathway), port operations and logistics support to RN and foreign units. Supported a significant change programme that transferred Naval Base reception centre services from the Civil Service to a civilian provider. Co-author of the Devonport 2030 Vision Statement that set out an ambitious strategic vision for the future of Western Europe's largest naval base. Led the performance management regime for a cohort of c500-600 personnel. Facilitated career development and promotions.

Flag Officer Sea Training Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff - Training Capability

Managed training delivery for Western Europe’s largest military training provider. Liaised with an extensive set of training delivery agencies to provide relevant training in response to an operationally focused and continually evolving requirement. Constructed a plan for a significant change initiative with a value of over £100M and a projected 50% reduction in the Royal Navy’s new entry training estate. Ensured the correct safety policy and reporting methodology was used in six major training establishments ensuring the safety of thousands of personnel.

Planned and delivered multi-agency exercises to test cross-government responses to overseas crises. Liaised extensively with OGDs, NGOs and private military companies. Enabled better preparation across government. Successful exercises facilitated redrafting of plans.
