I met Garvey in 2016 during a career transition. Then and now, Garvey has been extremely generous with her and time connections, giving me advice and support whenever I need it. Above all, I value Garvey for her wisdom, straight forward and practical advice, and courage in forging her own path for causes she cares passionately about. She is a mentor and someone I admire, two things there can never be enough of in this world!

Gabriel M.

As a former colleague while at Goldman Sachs, I had the pleasure of assisting her on several different events in my capacity as the lead technician. Not to be cliché but Garvey was a consummate professional could be relied upon, but she became someone I consider a good friend as a result of her professionalism and her passion. Since leaving Goldman Sachs, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Garvey the social disruptor, and as someone who advocates for those less fortunate whether it is directed to the lack of sanitation, women’s education, human trafficking, healthcare, or refugees rights. She is constantly raising awareness about issues that some did not even know was an issue. She has been in Greece and seen the smiles and the tears of those she was there to help while volunteering on the shores of Lesbos while there to support the refugee crisis. I would love an opportunity to work with her once more or to be able to continue to pick her brain on her thoughts for the future, whether it be social, economic, business, health-related and general life issues and concerns. Anyone working with Garvey will find themselves the immediate beneficiary of a passionate thinker, and avid doer. Your cause whether it be a business, non-profit or start-up will have greatly increased in value, regardless of how you measure value.
