  Responsible for all financial matters in a voluntary capacity for the Talyllyn Railway, the worlds first preserved railway.The Talyllyn Railway was built in 1865 to carry slate from the quarries at Bryn Eglwys to Tywyn on the mid Wales coast. It has operated continuously ever since, and still operates the two original locomotives and passenger carriages. It was saved from closure in 1950 by the formation of the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society.As Chief Financial Officer I participate fully in the management and decision making processes on the railway, including being part of the Society's Council and the Railway Company Board.
