Garry is a very experienced and highly skilled field ornithologist and a very capable protected species surveyor. He is particularly knowledgeable with regard to the ecology of upland birds, and has a deep interest in raptor ecology. He has a detailed understanding of all regular bird survey methodologies, both on and offshore, and is also a very capable marine bird and mammal surveyor. In addition to his expertise, Garry is straightforward to deal with, pragmatic, and thoughtful about his work. I would thoroughly recommend him.
