  Promoted to Corporate Manufacturing Manager ,transferred from El Paso Texas to Cleburne Texas to manage the local manufacturing facility and oversee at a corporate level three other manufacturing facilities that produced Spiral Wound Paper Tubes in Texas and Arkansas. My immediate responsibility was to bring the local corporate manufacturing facility up to speed to acceptable manufacturing standards. I was responsible for the day to day operations for that plant. I was also responsible for Spiral Wound Tube Product lines at three other facilities, two other plants in Texas and one in Arkansas. I was responsible for purchasing and or updating current manufacturing equipment for the different facilities. I reported directly to the president of the company.

  Promoted to General Manager, Moved to El Paso Texas. I was given P & L responsibility. I was responsible for the day to day operations in this plant. Some of my duties were: hiring personnel, training, coordinating various departments including sales production and shipping, job costing, product design, working with current and future customers, generating monthly P&L statements to our corporate office, monthly physical inventories, monthly quarterly and annual projection goals for our facility, annual capital expenditure projections, verifying that our facility was within OSHA Safety standards, working with current suppliers to verify that raw material costs and quality were within acceptable standards, constantly looking for ways to cut expenses without sacrificing quality-on time deliveries or safety.

  I was promoted to production manager at the Belton facility. My duties included all areas of production, shipping, receiving, and maintenance and hiring and training of personnel. I was able to upgrade or replace machinery and cut labor costs. I was also involved in the design and in house sales of corrugated packaging.
