The project presented some very unique challenges as the majority of the ATM’s were placed in isolated locations, servicing remote indigenous communities throughout Australia’s Northern Territory. As such much of the ATM’s data communications were based on 2G and 3G GPRS Mobile network technologies, which due to such remote locations, required a degree of resourceful thinking and ingenuity to achieve.
