During my time as an intern for Daryl Von Yokley's Law Firm, I learned a lot about litigation and the way legal matters proceed. My primary responsibility considered gaining information for potential cases, usually thru filing intakes. I would meet potential clients at the office or wherever they preferred to meet and gain information about their auto accidents/personal injuries. Once filing this all down, I would inform the attorney about the information and file the intake physically in their office. Tele-Fundraiser

For four years I worked as a telecaller for Mercer University's Alumni Services. My responsibilities included calling Mercer Alumni to inform them about changes at the school, reviewing and updating their personal information, and catching up with their current lives/achievements. We also would ask for donations to the Alumni Fund. Since Mercer University is a private college, a large portion of its funding is dependent on contributions from previous alumni, private businesses, and charitable establishments. I worked here as a teen through college and was able to learn a lot of social skills, specifically tailored towards customer service. My responsibilities included taking food orders from customers via our computer systems and running tickets to the back to inform cooks about specific requests. I also was responsible for maintaining a clean area, educating patrons about menu changes, and developing social bonds. I also helped organize and host dinner parties.
