Garrett has been a mentor of mine since I was in my senior year of college. Fast forward to going through 3 promotions at one of the world's largest tech companies in the past 4 years - I wouldn't have been able to get here without him. He has phenomenal advice and energy that will keep you optimistic and on the edge of your seat with anticipation. I highly recommend Garrett for any speaking, mentor, or leadership role. He will 100% bring the enthusiasm and passion in every setting.

Recently I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Garrett Mintz on his Ambitions in Motion Program. From start to finish Garrett and his team were professionals to deal with. He facilitated interaction with the livestreamed audience and it was evident the attendee interests, positive experience and learning was his key priority as evidenced by the depth of questions he posed during the conversation and the ways in which he facilitated attendee participation. Thanks Garrett, you are a pro to work with and I know your program is adding value to the lives of others. Charmaine Hammond

Ambition In Motion provides live, online workshops teaching participants the most up-to-date information in mentorship, strategically crafted and customized agendas for every mentor conversation to ensure each relationship grows and continues to build rapport, feedback assessments on every mentor conversation, and feedback assessments every 6 months to assess engagement changes over time of participating employees and uses research-backed methods to project how that changes in engagement affects the bottom line. MentorResource.com was created in an effort to make a full-fledged mentorship platform. Mentorship goes beyond connecting students with certain degrees with professionals in stereotypical careers as those degrees. Mentorship incorporates matching the personalities and perceptions of students with mentors that fit best, getting students involved and engaged, identifying the best mentors for each student based on research-proven criteria, creating an environment that efficiently and effectively allows students to connect with mentors and vice versa, and providing resources to students and mentors so then they can stay in touch after their initial conversation. MentorResource.com accomplishes this by using the most up-to-date research and technology on mentorship to provide the best possible solution to universities seeking a great way to engage their students and alumni. Provide fun, free activities to college students as well as a network of like-minded peers that enjoy alternatives to using and abusing drugs and alcohol. Such activities include: a bonfire a Lake Monroe, dodge-ball at the HPER, a pot-luck dinner and game night at Teter Dormatory, bowling at the IMU bowling alley, a trivia night at When Eddie Met Salad, and capture the flag throughout Indiana University's campus (with Showalter Fountain being the center). Coordinated fundraising events like gift wrapping during the holiday season at Barnes and Noble, delivering flowers on Valentine's Day for Flowers and Interiors Inc., and raffling off gift cards from local businesses to IU professors. Organizing advertising campaigns such as: placing chalk ads throughout campus, creating and passing out flyers for upcoming events, and informing professors of upcoming events so then they can post an ad before their classes. A nonprofit organization to help mentor young adults who have made poor decisions in terms of substance abuse, allow them to realize that people can change, and that a person should not label the rest of their life based off of a poor decision they have made in their past Do/Did • Started a nonprofit organization (not taxably recognized, but affiliated to At The Crossroads and Building Utah Youth) to help young adults who have made poor choices in their life, primarily with substance abuse, but also with other issues as well. • Coordinated fundraising efforts to help fund a booth I ran in an event called “Harvest Festival: Celebration of Family” to help provide games, toys, and candy to children in the area around Halloween time as well as network with therapists in the local St. George area. • Spoke to and consoled with young adults placed in mandated court therapy for misdemeanors relating to drugs. Learn/Learned • There is no better feeling than making a difference in somebody else’s life and actually enjoying doing it • Being a role model to my peers is more motivation to achieve my goals and set an example than any other motivation I could come up with by myself Results • I mentored over 30 young adults and hopefully had an impact on their lives • I helped get 6 young adults jobs in the local area • I helped motivate at least 8 young adults to become a productive member of society as opposed to being depressed and doing nothing all day. • Every young adult I mentored, I helped realize their passion and did at least 3 things to help them pursue that passion. Do/Did • Helped coordinate the rehabilitation of houses in northwest Indiana • Coordinated professionals to come in and work on the house (i.e. I coordinated the plumber, electrician, and roofer to come work on the most recent house I helped work on) • Did handyman work around the house (i.e. landscaping, demolition, painting, pretty much any job that needed to be taken care of around the house) Learn/Learned • After repair value= current value+ cost to repair + desired profit • Some tasks need to be done professionally while others can be done personally and knowing the difference between which tasks. • How to take a bid on a professional job that needs to be done. • What color schemes go together in a house Results • Earned a little under $10000 in profit for Midwest Redevelopment.
