At Studio One Eleven, Berlin Packaging's in-house design studio, I was an involved member of the industrial design team at nearly every stage of the design process including research, conceptualization, design-for-manufacturing, modeling, rendering, and client/internal facing relations. I developed and honed important skills such as design strategy, brand positioning, and advanced sketch rendering techniques. Over the Summer of 2017, I had the opportunity to help create a platform for students to showcase and sell t-shirt designs. Working with a team, we completed market research and competitor analysis so better understand openings in the market. We constructed multiple business plans to fill in the gaps of the market, indicated by our research. Finally, as our own spin on the industry, we brainstormed how we could implement special packaging for consumers that would compliment the experience of a new t-shirt.
