  During my one-month internship at Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board, my responsibilities included: Updating the Community Events Calendar and Job Postings - Completed data entry on the backend of WordPress - Conducted research to find events and jobs Social Media - Implemented marketing campaigns on Facebook and Twitter to over 40,000 followers Distribution - Distributed the multi-award winning Bay of Quinte Discover Guide to over 20 clients - Demonstrated customer service skills to ensure they were satisfied - Delivered over 1,200 copies in under 5 hours Map and Discover Guide Edits - Helped finalize 6th edition of Bay of Quinte Discover Guide and newly branded regional map - Assisted and contributed to proofreading and design edits - Acted as the photographer for staff the staff picture in the Discover Guide Blog - Wrote two blog posts about the Bay of Quinte area - Cold called, researched and conducted interviews for sources - Took part in multiple group editing sessions with the Marketing Coordinator and Executive Director Brand Activation - Helped organize a brand activation of the Bay of Quinte area with the Belleville Senators - Over 500 guests invited, over 350 people were bussed to Belleville from Ottawa - Three local wineries and two local breweries were present giving samples - Assembled 500 gift bags for guests - Strong, positive feedback received from all parties involved Show less
