Gareth was instrumental in my development upon joining Wood Mackenzie. As the Global Lead for the PET service , Gareth continually looked for ways to improve our product service suite, driving new client development whilst providing myself with continual support as a new team member within the petrochemicals industry. Gareth's deep understanding of multiple petrochemical sectors combined with his technical expertise was fundamental in client interactions, product development and team-wide support. Often taking the lead on multiple projects, Gareth continually provided critical input regarding efficiencies, project timelines and task prioritisation/management, often streamlining methodologies and improving final deliverables. Gareth was a invaluable member of the team, who continually strived for excellence in both his own work, and importantly the work of others. It was a pleasure to work with him, and importantly learn from him. His openness for discussion was always welcomed, which provided me with a fantastic foundation of knowledge to go forward with. I can't thank him enough for his continual support.
