Public Order Training Sergeant

Responsible for the supervision of a team of police constables with oversight of the delivery of a variety of portfolios across the National Public Order Public Safety Training Curriculum, including level 1,2 and 3 public order training, Method of Entry, CBRN, Protestor Removal Training and Police Liaison Team training. In addition, I supervise and deliver on a variety of national courses to other forces both regionally and nationally, for which we hold the licenses, including National Public Order Trainers Course, Method of Entry Trainers Course, Silver Commander's Course, Bronze Commander's Course and the Events Module course.

Supervisor of a response team of police constables serving the city of Sheffield. Responsible for their welfare, personal development and coaching/mentoring support to ensure they become and remain effective and competent police officers. Overseeing the response to, through appropriate resource allocation and management of, a variety of police incidents including crime, anti-social behaviour and welfare concern incidents, including the management of missing persons of varying risks. Responsible for supervising the management of officer case loads and crime management, providing advice and support to ensure the best service to the victims and communities of South Yorkshire.
