      Managing a team of 16 engineers and responsible for Engine Bay and setting up of the Workshops gaining C4,C6,C7,C8,C9 and C20 approvals from the CAA. Instrumental and responsible for the setting up ACT overhaul program and aft fixed fairing terminating SB embodiment for the Thomas Cook fleet at a cost saving of over £1 million. Responsible for the satisfactory completion and certification of all work required in accordance with approved MOE procedures. Implemented 5S philosophy into the workshops. Developed, maintained and published Departmental KPI’s. Responsible for the maintenance and storage of the Thomas Cook Group fleet of Engines and APU’s and the coordination of Workshop maintenance activities. Monitoring sickness and absence and maintaining control of annual leave in keeping with company guidelines. Manage and co-ordinate the activity of shift personnel, including any contract staff, to ensure designated work is accomplished to plan. Manage all financial aspects, including authorisation of overtime, ensuring this is in line within departmental budget guidelines. Manage allocated project man hours and material budgets within departmental guidelines and efficiency targets, and demonstrated on Workshop capacity plan. To ensure that the company Health and Safety Policy plus HSE requirements are adhered to and that all work is carried out to the appropriate Environmental standards and maintaining a safety aware culture.
