Garen's responsibilities the two quarters at Midea have been to support the design and development of new innovative products and features relating to household appliances. Garen’s role has been to work with our engineers to help transform engineering ideas into good looking solutions that our consumers will adore. He uses CAD 3D modeling, Adobe photoshop, and other tools to develop visual images of potential solutions. Garen is approachable and easy to work with. He has a good understanding of consumer trends, interests, and styles. He quickly understands the engineering ideas and then works with the engineers to expand the ideas into visual concepts. His room air conditioner designs are moving to production with no other styling inputs. His washer UI styling is being used for a Midea Technology Show in October. I have received good feedback from all the engineers that worked with him during his two rotations.
