As Executive Director of Cyber Security and GRC at SKY Brasil, I am proud to have led the development and implementation of a comprehensive cyber security program that resulted in a remarkable improvement in the organization's risk score. When I started, the score was F63, which was a concerning risk level. However, through my leadership, we were able to improve the score to an A93, which was by far the best score in the industry, according to Security Score Card. During my time at Movida, I was tasked with building the organization's cyber security area from scratch. I tackled this challenge head-on and was able to implement several key projects that helped the company achieve a strong level of cyber resilience. One of my first projects was a full cyber security assessment, which helped identify vulnerabilities and risks that needed to be addressed. I also provided training for the team to ensure they had the knowledge and skills to effectively manage cyber security threats. I then went on to implement a Security Operations Center (SOC), which provided real-time threat detection and response capabilities. This was complemented by an intelligence program that allowed us to proactively monitor and respond to emerging threats. Another major project was the deployment and integration of an XDR platform, which provided enhanced visibility and protection across the organization's infrastructure. Finally, I worked closely with development teams to develop a robust SDLC framework that helped increase cyber resilience in the organization's apps ecosystem. This included incorporating security requirements into the software development process and conducting regular security testing. Overall, my experience at Movida was challenging but incredibly rewarding. As CSO of Mercado Bitcoin, I had the privilege of working with a talented team of cyber security professionals to implement a solid bug bounty program in partnership with HackerOne. This program was the first of its kind in Brazil and helped to significantly enhance the security of our platform. Our team worked closely with ethical hackers to identify and fix vulnerabilities before they could be exploited by malicious actors. This collaborative approach was a key part of our cyber security strategy and helped to ensure the safety and security of our users' assets. As Head of Cyber Security for LATAM at Uber, I had the opportunity to lead a team of cyber security professionals and implement key initiatives to enhance the security of Uber's operations in the region. One of our most successful projects involved integrating cyber security monitoring tools with the fraud department, resulting in a significant increase in fraud detection and prevention. This project alone saved the company millions of dollars. Our team also implemented a number of other initiatives, such as improving the incident response process, implementing security controls in the development lifecycle, and enhancing the security awareness program for employees. Our efforts helped to significantly reduce the risk of cyber threats to the organization and improve the overall security posture of Uber in LATAM.
