      In the El-Samad lab, we apply control theory to biological systems. Characterized de novo designed proteins in vivo in collaboration with the Baker lab at the University of Washington. Designed, built, and tested synthetic feedback circuits with de novo designed proteins in yeast, as part of the DARPA BioControl project.
