On July 2018, I have started a post doc. at Nanjing Biotech. YSY Company Ltd, China. We established a regeneration and transformation system in tomato and after that we established a gene deletion/replacement system by using a dual-sgRNA/Cas9 design to introduce a gene of interest (targeted editing of RIN gene) to develop new varieties of long life tomato On July 2018, I have started a post doc. at Nanjing Biotech. During the PhD thesis, I have established a plant regeneration system in Balanites aegyptiaca, also isolate and cloned erd10 gene to produce Balanites transformed plant tolerant to salt stress and this was the first transformation system has established in B. aegyptiaca and this work has been published in Plant cell tissue and organ culture journal. Also, we have investigated the relation between the genetic diversity and geographical distribution through amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) analysis to evaluate the genetic diversity of twelve provenances of B. aegyptiaca collected from different geographical regions and this work was published in African Journal of Agricultural Research. Besides that, we conducted a study to compare and examine the morpho-physiological responses to drought stress and the capability for recovery among different B. aegyptiaca genotypes through several growth parameters, stomata conductance, quantum efficiency, thermal imaging and enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidant capacity and the manuscript has published in Journal of Agronomy and Crop Sciences Show less
