      I started my sales career at Kings working as a trainee negotiator and then being promoted to the Sales & Finance Manager in 2000. The company was a commercial business transfer agent and my role was to sell businesses across the North West from Chip Shops to Day Nurseries, Pubs to Convenience Stores. I managed the key accounts for Whitbread, Bargain Booze and Punch Taverns aswell as representing the company in small claims courts against bad debtors which gave me incredible exposure to something new and challenging. I arranged finance through a variety of banks and finance brokers for my prospects purchasing businesses and I managed a sales team of 8 staff - driving KPIs, targets and company standards. Unfortunately the company was sold to a Plc in 2007 and during the final year of my employment it was evident the receivership was on the cards. I left 6 months before the company folded into administration.
