This to mitigate what The Foundation for Pavement Preservation claims is a potential loss of as much as 60% of the pavement life in the first two years. It is my belief that pavement preservation should be early and timely, and not as a late reaction to distressed pavement that requires corrective measures of crack seal, etc.
