I had the opportunity to work closely with Gail and would recommend her without reservation. I believe she will be an outstanding addition to any organization. Gail is business-focused and clients truly love her. New and repeat clients, from Unilever to Estée Lauder, based both in Asia and out of Asia, frequently request to have Gail lead their projects. Gail work vigorously to earn and keep her clients' trust. Her insights and recommendations often have strategic implications that are broader than the business issue initially scoped. She thinks big-picture for the clients and makes sure there is long-term value created and not just short-term results. Besides her strong sense of ownership, I also appreciate Gail’s curiosity and open mindedness towards new challenges. She is never done learning and always seeks to improve herself. This is a mark of a confident and authentic leader. When she was based in Shanghai, she challenged herself and worked on projects requiring her to moderate in Mandarin – of which is not her native language. During those two years, she stretched herself and went from relying on external translators and moderators for projects, to actually moderating in-depth interviews in Mandarin on her own. Her positive energy and can-do attitude are contagious, and it is that optimism that inspires her team to succeed in even the most difficult of tasks.
