I've joined the Digital Committee for Scottish Women In Sport (SW/S). This is a voluntary position that was made available to me due to my company director at KubeNet. In this role I help create the graphics for social media, mostly using Canva. In November 2021, I helped in creating the SW/S Awards brochure for the night. The SW/S Awards was an in person event. I also helped create the programme for the SW/S conference 2022. I've joined the Digital Committee for Scottish Women In Sport (SW/S). Blogging @ sherbet-aurora.co.uk in 2014, rebranded to agentlegail.com in 2019. This personal blog began life a travel and tourism blog, and the rebranded focussed on environmentalism, sustainability and conservation. Blogging has given me skills in Google Analytics, networking and social media management. It has, additionally, provided me with experience in website building through both Wordpress and Blogger. From a young age, I was also interested in Youtube video creating and am confident in video editing and being in front of, and behind, the camera. Show less

My prized moment in this role was leading the influencer campaigns for our Stamp 'N Stick product. From research, reaching out and ensuring they were implemented. During my time at Trodat, I worked alongside the team in the factory, communicating a variety of needs and liasing with the team to get them organised. I looked after social media, e-mail campaigns and worked on Facebook PPC campaigns. I also looked after websites; adding product, updating images and adding descriptions. In September 2022, I took a trip down to Birmingham to the Autumn Fair where I assisted in the set up and the running of our stall, including taking payments and talking to potential leads. I did a bit of everything and I'm eternally grateful for the opportunities and experiences provided to me in my time here. Show less

Working as the main marketer, I looked after all elements of marketing. From content creation and social media management, to running mail campaigns, writing blogs, developing leaflets and adverts and working with our sponsorships and partners. I organised social events for the company, including the Macmillan Coffee Morning, the Christmas night out and organising a client trip to the Citizen's Theatre for the Christmas Pantomime. Working in the Arts and Crafts department due to my redundancy at EWM. This role was much more hands on and labour intensive. I had more control over merchandising - observing what sells in the store and if there are any seasonal changes that could be highlighted. We also had a lot more that needed to be actioned every day, from morning paperwork, to working pallets of stock as quickly as possible. In addition, as this is during the global pandemic, there are times where I was a warden on the door. Show less

I was made redundant in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. This role furthered my skills developed at Trespass (more intricate banking procedures etc) and more technical elements for our items. This store consisted of EWM, Peacocks and Ponden Home. There were a lot of challenges faced in this role (such as manual card payments when the tills would go down during a particularly busy day) and a lot of positive elements as well - such as training up a new supervisor and sales assistant. In my new supervisor role, I advanced in my knowledge of the technical elements of our stock as well as increasing my responsabilities.I was now a key holder, and thus was in charge of opening and closing the store (on several occasions this was both), and lead multiple shifts. I learned about our banking procedures - cashed up and dealt with our floats. As this role was nearby our head office, there were occasions in which I corresponded with company directors.I would often help out at neighbouring stores, and during my time here, spent several months travelling back and forward from my previous store in Falkirk to open/close every Sunday - as I was covering for supervisor's maternity leave. For this role, I was tested on the allergens, as well as holding an understanding of MSC fish and cross contamination for Gluten, as we served Gluten Free food.
