Totem is a non-profit startup focusing on an alternative form of mental health service called Circles. As we are in a mental health crisis, Totem is working to create a virtual support group platform based on the ancient practice of Circles as an alternative to traditional therapy. I have been responsible for the following areas in preparing to launch: - Conducted user interviews and usability tests with real users who have an interest in mental health and alternative forms of therapy. - Created data synthesis and analysis based on user feedback to better inform stakeholders needs, working with various individuals across multiple disciplines to timely deliver results- Trained as a "Keeper" or meeting moderator to get hands-on practice with the product, to better inform future attendees, better my own knowledge of Circling, and better inform the business needs as we progress towards launching - Conducted live Circles as a "Keeper" or meeting moderator virtually and in person to research and promote our business, allowing for feedback from attendees to better inform my research and better inform and improve Totem for the best possible VIP. - Soon to be leading various Circles at "Sovereignty Fest" In Santa Monica, CA November 2022 to better inform my research as well as promotion
