During my time at Edwards, I developed a Transeptal Puncture (TSP) Model to train Japanese clinical specialists on the effects suboptimal TSPs have on the PASCAL TEER procedural steps. This training tool demonstrated device positioning, trajectory, and height with respect to the coaptation zone of the mitral valve at suboptimal TSPs. The model was utilized by sales representatives in physician training programs due to its capability to differentiate the PASCAL delivery system from competitors… Show more During my time at Edwards, I developed a Transeptal Puncture (TSP) Model to train Japanese clinical specialists on the effects suboptimal TSPs have on the PASCAL TEER procedural steps. The model was utilized by sales representatives in physician training programs due to its capability to differentiate the PASCAL delivery system from competitors on the market. Additionally, I optimized existing dry bench fixtures to simulate echocardiographic views as a cost-effective approach to physician training. Lastly, I managed inventory logistics, wet labs, heart prep, device prep, and fluoro slides at HCP events in Irvine, Chicago, and Baltimore.
