I volunteer weekly at Basis 336 which is a research centre for anyone needing housing support, advice on finding accommodation, referrals and signposting to other services, showers, laundry, emergency food, befriending and Internet access, access to support around accessing private rented sector, including rent in advance and deposit scheme, follow-up support once tenancy has been found and Emergency accommodation for rough sleepers. My role at the centre is to work with the service users with any of the above tasks. iI is a very rewarding role.
