In the three and a half years I have gotten to know Gabriella I have nothing but delightful things to say about her. She set foot in the insurance industry with very little knowledge and is leaving now with a plethora of insight. We worked on several different projects together and she is always encouraging, hard-working, and goes above and beyond to exceed all expectations. She is a very strong team player and wants everyone to succeed. I am sad we will no longer be working together in the insurance industry together but wherever she lands her feet next I know she will do amazing things.

Empathetic. Versatile. Tenacious. If I could describe Gabby in three words, it would be these. She continuously demonstrates these qualities and excels in many aspects of media. She was one of my first friends at San Francisco State University. Gabby’s spontaneous personality is easily the antithesis to my calculated personality; yet somehow, we mesh well. As a friend, Gabby is loyal, compassionate but also blunt. There have—and still—been numerous instances where I’d be at the point of a mental breakdown, yet Gabby has always been there to keep me at bay. But let’s get one thing clear: Gabby doesn’t sugarcoat things, she tells it like it is—out of love, of course! I can honestly say Gabby will be a lifelong friend. Gabby knows what she’s doing but does so in a humble manner. Her versatility on and off camera make her a viable asset. Gabby is impeccable as a producer; calm, collected and quick in decision making. As talent, she easily gets along with her cohosts and it definitely shows on camera. Her skills are vast thanks to her determination and training at Whitney High School’s award-winning news series "Unleashed". She pitches, shoots and edits her own stories in a timely manner. Gabby makes sure her writing is clear and concise, even if it means editing it a hundred times. She’s also the pun Queen (take a look at her scripts and you’ll see what I mean.) Gabby doesn’t wait for things to happen—she makes it happen one way or another. Her drive got her many opportunities including an internship at KCRA in Sacramento, an assignment desk internship—and eventually job—at ABC 7 in San Francisco and social media internship with travel writer/blogger Stuart Schuffman aka Broke-Ass Stuart. Gabby goes above and beyond with her projects. As a production assistant she went the extra mile to commute from Auburn to San Francisco for early shifts at ABC for a brief period. With Broke-Ass Stuart, Gabby monitored Schuffman’s social media account—even during a Spring Break trip to L.A. She managed to do all of that while balancing her social life and being a full-time student. These are just a few of the many times Gabby’s demonstrated her strong work ethic. She’s a team player and enjoys helping others. We collaborated on many stories together including the North Bay Fires and Immigration Protest at SF City Hall. Gabby’s future is bright; her talent and wit will get her anywhere—wherever field it may be.
