I had the pleasure to work with Gabriella during my Masters as part of the University of Westminster Mentoring Scheme. Gabriella’s mentoring made my Masters a very special experience that I cherish deeply. I could not have asked for a more suitable mentor, not only on a professional but also on a personal level. Gabriella is a positive, kind and welcoming person who is able to create an environment in which you can confidently learn and grow. Through our time together I have learned a lot about networking, online marketing and time management, as well as personal development. I was able to take away great impressions from Language Professionals’ Networking Events and was beyond excited about her interest in implementing more eco-friendly practices for Figaro London Hair & Beauty. Gabriella has become a role model for me in the way that it is possible and indeed desirable to pursue several careers and passions alongside each other, as one can inspire the other and interrelationships can be recognised to create ideas and value. To experience with how much dedication and always with the thought of adding value to the people she meets is highly inspiring and you can't get around believing in yourself and your abilities. Her encouragement and enthusiasm have given me the courage to get out of my own head and pursue my own projects beyond my studies. With Gabriella’s support I was able to develop on a professional and personal level. I have no hesitation to wholeheartedly recommend anyone to work with Gabriella.

I had the opportunity to work with Gabriella during my internship at Language Professionals’ Networking Event. Since day one, Gabriella has been an incredible mentor: thoughtful, inspiring, understanding and always positive. She created a comfortable working environment, where I was encouraged to share my thoughts and ideas, and where I knew I could openly communicate with my colleagues. She showed constant support and genuine willingness to help me in every step of the way. Thanks to her mentorship, I’ve gained confidence and grown a lot, both on a professional and personal level. I was provided with endless opportunities for learning about digital marketing and event planning, putting my skills into practice and making meaningful connections. I am incredibly grateful for having had the opportunity to work alongside Gabriella and learn from her: her passion for what she does and dedication to all the projects she’s involved are truly motivating and inspiring. I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor to guide me as I made my way in the world of work.

Gabriella was my mentor during my internship at Language Professionals' Networking Event. My experience with her has been extremely positive and fulfilling, both on a working and on a human level. Gabriella is an extraordinary mentor who taught me everything about digital marketing. The energy and passion she put into mentoring me every day for a year has been a great source of inspiration, that really made the difference. It's not easy to find a person who genuinely cares about teaching you and who is able to transmit something that goes beyond the job responsibilities, by dedicating others so much time as she did with me, and for this I feel really lucky and grateful to have met her. This has been much more than a simple work experience and for this reason I'll always carry it in my heart.

I organise and host a non-profit community event called Language Professionals' Networking Event in central London.Language Professionals’ Networking Event is a social gathering that takes place once a month in an informal setting. The purpose of these regular interdisciplinary meetings is to provide a platform where language teachers, coaches, trainers, tutors, translators, interpreters, voice-over actors, voice coaches, language and speech therapists, language and translation consultants, researchers, computer linguists, lexicographers, editors, proofreaders – you name it, can meet, learn from each other, be inspired by talks and interviews with some brilliant minds from the linguist world, ask for support from like-minded professionals, and learn of new opportunities. We start the evening off with a thought-provoking 30-minute talk, presentation or interview, followed by drinks and networking in a cosy little bar.The event is a non-profit initiative. Proceeds go to support Moorfields Eye Charity.“It is a luxury to put our interests first. It is an honour to put the interest of others before ourselves.” Simon Sinek

I taught marketing at Kingston University's international study centre to first-year business management students. As a language teacher, I relate to the challenges international students face when studying an academic subject in a foreign language. I simplified the seemingly complex language of marketing to make it more digestible to foreign students whose first language is not English. And as a passional digital marketer and entrepreneur myself, I tried my best to bring real-life, practical examples to my classes. My goal is always to get the ideas of ethical, honest and transparent marketing closer to university students and to show them the practical side of modern online marketing.
