Regional Tourism Observatory Portal - a tool to centralize regional tourism data to enable ways to observe, study, and research the tourism economy. The goal of a tourism observatory is to have an integrated and consistent database that allows for strategic and systematic monitoring of tourism activities in the state. Rio Grande do Norte lacks a tourism portal that functions as an observatory. In February 2020, the IFRN was contacted by the Potiguar Tourist Promotion Company (Emprotur), which is linked to the State Tourism Secretariat (SETUR), for the installation of a portal with historical tourism data, which was paused due to the isolation period. Recently, the project was restarted with this partner. In this sense, the objective of this project is to develop a portal that can gather data and information about tourism in Rio Grande do Norte. I participated in studies and helped with the infrastructure, learned and configured Docker, as well as assisted in frontend development with the creation of components, styling, and functionality using Reactjs and Vuejs.
