      - I conducted original research in the field of gravitational physics, leading to 12 peer-reviewed publications and 30+ talks in conference and international institutions. - My research focused on large-scale simulations of black holes and compact objects. Most of my work was on national supercomputer. I developed new tools for data analysis and workflow management (in Python), and extended existing codes (mostly in simple C and Fortran). In this, developed and implemented novel numerical methods and algorithms. - I contributed to the development of the Einstein Toolkit, a popular open-source code for relativistic astrophysics. - I designed, built, and deployed the official post-processing library for Einstein Toolkit, kuibit. kuibit is a well-documented and tested Python library built with NumPy, SciPy, and h5py and packaged with Poetry. - I taught classes, and gave tutorials and seminars. I received an award for excellence in teaching by the Astronomy department, and one for excellence in research by the Theoretical Astrophysical Program. - I received the NASA Future Investigator for Earth and Space Sciences Grant and the Texas Advanced Center for Computing Frontera fellowship (total of $ 189,000), as well as additional $ 9500 in travel grants from various sources. - I reviewed for academic journals and mentored students. - I co-founded and helped run the Steward Observatory International Scholars Task Force, an initiative to assist incoming non-domestic researchers to the University of Arizona. LCM manages two compute Linux clusters used by students and researchers of the Physics Department of the University of Milan. I: - supported the administrators in tasks of routine administration, such as ensuring that the services were correctly running - trained users and help them install Linux on their personal device or troubleshoot their technical problems - developed new tools for system administration, including a new terminal-user-interface (TUI) to manage users' accounts on the cluster and the LDAP database.
