Museum Curator and Professor of Material Culture and Music at Royal College of Music
-
Jan 2014 - Present
I joined the Royal College of Music in 2014 to lead the redevelopment of a new museum and a research centre on material culture and music which will be launched in 2020.As part of a £4.8million investment from the Heritage Lottery Fund, I am coordinating the display, study, digitisation and conservation of over 15,000 objects spanning over more than 500 years. I also work with a passionate team to explore the use of social media and digital technologies to promote public access and engagement with musical heritage. Show less
