Under contract with Balfour Beatty, I worked on the Caltrain electrification project, converting the railway from San Francisco Caltrain Station to Tamien Caltrain Station to an OCS (Overhead Contact System) operated train. I worked with documentation of multiple disciplines. For the OCS discipline, I worked with drawings and organizing various documents from the Engineer of Record. In Civils discipline, I created an RFI (Request for Information) tracker spreadsheet to identify and organize RFI's in our system. In order to fully understand the status of our RFI's, I scanned through each one and noted details of each one on the tracker; such as open, closed, in whos court, and more importantly, the content within each one and the priority relative to which should be addressed first. These RFI's were about field tests, concrete pouring, conduit installation, wire installation, design changes, requests for specifications, etc. In Signals and Communication discipline, I worked with document control in receiving submittals from a contractor and getting signatures from our managers. These submittals were O&M manuals, As-built drawings, Design Changes, Product Data, Test Data, and Procedures. These would be transmitted to the owner Caltrains. In Traction Power discipline, I also managed a tracker spreadsheet and handled submittals from EOR to be signed and submitted to the owner. As part of project closeout, I would organize and manage the submitles we recieved, note them on the tracker, prepare them for signatures, and work with document control to process them. Show less

In Computacenter, I moved supplies from inventory to assembly as part of the process in building server racks. We built projects for Twitch, Roblox, and Riot Games as primary customers. My responsibilities included sourcing parts from inventory, accumulating them into a kit, de-trashing them, and preparing them for assembly. As part of quality assurance, I made sure that all kits contained the correct quantity of parts. Safety and efficiency was a big focus in my operations including keeping aisles clean, managing kits at different stages, and operating a power jack. Additionally, I worked in package receiving, inventory, and assembly. I handled logistic matters for receiving by accounting for the shipments and building pallets for inventory. In assembly, I processed the kits and assembled them at different stages. I prepared them for quality inspection as well. Show less

I handled problematic and damaged packages within the warehouse. My job consisted of sorting and lifting Amazon packages onto conveyor belts and stages corresponding to different zip codes within the Bay Area. Additionally, I would gather packages that had faulty addresses, bar codes, or were broken and scan them into warehouse damaged inventory. To communicate the problems with these packages, I would email the sellers of the mistakes and request a follow-up for returning, repackaging, or canceling the delivery. Show less

I assisted in opening/closing shop floor, inventory, customer service, and accounting. Opening and closing included learning how to deposit the day's profits, refill registers, and clean and secure the merchandise floor. As a sales associate, my responsibility covered setting up for trunk shows and sales events as well as cooperating with other associates and the team leader to complete sales goals. Working on the sales floor meant paying special attention to customers and tending to their needs. Plenty of experience in customer service and handling online shipping fulfillment in a timely manner. Show less

I was an engineering intern who worked over summers and sometimes over winter break. Schneider-Electric is an HVAC company that specializes in creating autonomous smart systems. Their products go out to companies like Lockheed, Boeing, SJSU campus, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, San Francisco Library, and San Francisco Chinese Hospital. My work dealt with designing the smart systems composed of controllers sensors and actuators. At first, I made operation/maintenance manuals that describing the various systems and the general design of the projects. With AutoCAD and Visio, I made engineering drawings that detailed AHU’s and floor levels. Later I became involved in the hardware and electrical aspects of the system. I would create network schematics of the communication between the controllers and the actuators and sensors throughout the system. Using PLC design, I mapped inputs and outputs and sourced different parts based on customer or design specifications. In all stages of the process, I was involved in documentation and building a customer submittal. Show less
