Moreover, I organized case files for children under the Medicaid program, ensuring that office supplies were easily accessible to clerks and nurses. I took the initiative to declutter the office and discard any unnecessary materials. In addition to these tasks, I also assisted with setting up venues for meetings and providing snacks and beverages for attendees. While working California Children's Services (CCS) I also assisted the Medical Therapy Program (MTP) which is an essential service that provides medical therapy to children with physical disabilities, speech delays, or other disorders that impair their development. The program offers occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy services to eligible children. As an intern with the program, I gained first-hand experience working with children with disabilities and helping them achieve their developmental goals.
