Grill Master
-
Feb 2018 - Oct 2020
I was the grill master for the fast food restaurant Harvey's. As the grill master, the majority of the time I was the only staff member in charge of the kitchen. My primary responsibility was making the food, which consisted of cooking and making hamburgers, fry the food, and make specialty items. I was also responsible for the sanitation of the kitchen by keeping the environment clean, cleaning the dishes, cleaning the cooking equipment, and ensured all the food was up to date. My primary working times were the busy hours of Friday and Saturday nights where I would close the kitchen after the restaurant would close. I as well opened the kitchen on weekends. When the hand was needed, I would also help out the front of the restaurant with garnishing the burgers, taking and handing out orders, and for most nights clean their dishes so we worked most efficiently as a team. Finally, I also trained new kitchen staff on fryer and grill, as well as opening and closing the restaurant. Show less

Leadership Development Program
-
Jul 2019 - Aug 2019
For 50 days I was the Company Sergeant Major of Basic Drill and Ceremonial Cadet Course. I was in charge of all the staff conducting the training and ensured the course cadets were well-treated and in good health. I had 23 staff cadets under my command and was responsible for 160 course cadets. As the head cadet staff of the course, I also guided and was involved with the staff cadets under me to improve their leadership and overall performance as a trainer. With my staff team, I organized events for the course cadets and staff that improved their ability to perform as cadets and raised morale when it needed a boost. I was known as the fulcrum of the course. I led the connection between the cadet and officer staff and ensured the leadership ran smoothly from the officer in command to the course cadet. Show less
