Oct 2016 - Jul 2017
While working here, I updated The Forward's social media websites and kept regularly scheduled content on a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. I used Buffer and CoSchedule as mediums to schedule content and learn the most up-to-date methods for social media outreach. I also utilized Google Analytics and Facebook Insights to determine our most effective posts, and modified our approach in our least clicked posts. Marketing Outreach
-
Aug 2015 - Dec 2015
I worked at this branch of The Puget Sound Fund, calling to fundraise and to 'friendraise' on behalf of the University. I fielded questions as a representative of the school, created positive impressions on the alum regarding the school, and raised money for a wide variety of University-related causes. In 25 days of work, I raised approximately $2000 for the University, and was known for garnering a high call-to-pledge ratio and a positive relationship with the alum I spoke to. I ended up quitting after one semester to pursue personal interests (specifically, to play Roger in the musical Rent).

Program Intern
-
Jun 2015 - Aug 2015
While a Machon Kaplan Fellow at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC), the AAPD taught me about disability advocacy in national politics. I supported the organization as they were choosing their new CEO & President, performing administrative work to help maintain their public persona. As an intern, I aided the NBC-Universal Scholarship, the AAPD Summer Internship, and I created the Disability Download, a monthly e-mail update of disability-related news, announcements, and events among the disabled community in Washington, DC. As a Fellow, I studied Jewish explanations for social justice, and directly advocated congress on disability rights and on the Iran Nuclear Deal.

'Perspectives' Orientation Leader
-
Apr 2014 - Aug 2015
I welcomed over 60 students onto campus as an orientation leader, introducing them to college culture at the University of Puget Sound. We also volunteered in the area and got acquainted to Tacoma as a city. I facilitated conversation around sensitive topics in colleges today, including questions around diversity, gender identity, sexual assault, drinking, and responsibility as a young adult. Camp Counselor
-
Jun 2013 - Aug 2014
I worked 2 summers at the Skylake Yosemite Camp after attending as a child. As a counselor, I was responsible for 6 to 14 kids at a time; leading them in group activities, checking up on them individually to ensure they felt supported and engaged in the camp, and represented the major authority figure in their life for the duration of camp. Simultaneously, I led two of the most popular activities in the camp (Outdoor Cooking and Ropes Course), and successfully led camp-wide events and campfires.
