PhD in Post-processing of ensemble forecasts in meteorology using statistical learning methods
-
Apr 2018 - Dec 2021
Statistical modelling for multivariate ensemble weather forecast calibration in order to increase the value of this meteo service product. Analysis of the errors present in the ensemble forecast. Deployment of traditional machine learning method. The conception of a novel gaussian mixture to cluster multivariate ensemble forecast series and to improve the error correction method applied to ensemble weather forecast. The PhD manuscript is available here http://www.theses.fr/2021REN1S113.
