This position is a part-time job which has required me to perform many duties, the first of which is the care and management of a group of 18-24 Second grade aged children. This job requires the ability to respond rapidly to situations that can develop quickly and intensely, and which might affect the quality of afterschool care if not resolved. Careful management of large groups, planning, and the ability to follow detailed and often changing procedure allows me to provide the best care for the children of my community. Furthermore, I have engaged with STEM education in this job by designing experiments to demonstrate scientific concepts to children at a K-3rd grade levels. Show less
