Lead QA for one of the Expedia EMEA development teams working in Scrum, later Kanban, TDD and BDD approaches: • I prepared test plans, test cases and automation tests to ensure on-time delivery of several flagship EMEA projects. • I led test automation efforts in a variety of tools during the evolution of automation strategy in the company. • Designed and maintained automated smoke and regression suites, which were running in Jenkins on every developer commit. The tests were exercising the web app with stubbed back-end and/or on a fully integrated environment. • I worked closely with dev/business to collect requirements, and plan the test strategies accordingly. I supported testers, conducted code reviews and pair-work. • I conducted several trainings in automation and various other subjects. Active contributor of the Expedia Automation Working group: • Integrated and promoted Saucelabs for remote cross-browser testing. • Implemented several smaller, yet crucial improvement on the framework, such as scaffolding scripts, native windows calls for IE automation, and published tech articles on confluence.
