      • Jun 2015 - Aug 2015

During the Arkitrek camp I worked alongside 10 architects and 1 building surveyor on a two month design and build project constructing an Eco-lodge for the client Borneo Eco Tours. This raised structure is constructed with bamboo from the floor up as well as bio-crete, a sustainable alternative to concrete that uses natural fibres and has improved hydroscopic properties for the tropical climate. The building consists of two bedrooms, social space and fully functioning bathroom and kitchen.
