Fargo, North Dakota, United States E-commerce is here to stay. Figured I would join the party. Rustic.com has a wonderful COO who operates this business. I am involved to make sure payroll and adspend are funded, and to advise on strategic partnerships and hires.

Fargo, North Dakota Area This job was perfect for me. I just told people how to exercise at 5:30 am... Don't get me wrong though... I will never be a crazy morning person who does high intensity crossfit workouts before 6 am. I do still love working out and am still a member of this gym community. But the only reason I am awake at 5 am is if one of my two toddlers is as well haha

Fargo, North Dakota, United States 100 Cold Calls per day selling LTL and UPS Ground services. I ended up making over 24,000 cold calls in just over a year at Unishippers. This is where I cut my teeth in Freight and realized I could do more than just set appts. I got paid a cash bonus if I was able to get someone to send a shipment, but I did not manage the relationship at all past the first shipment. Each cold call was made to ask if they had a live shipment I could quote and ship that day!

Fargo, North Dakota Area Newly Married and in College, I found myself on the job hunt (I guess my Wife expected me to help pay rent or something). I applied to several places, but was the best option was Walmart Floor Associate. I started right away, and was quickly transitioned into cashiering and Jewelry sales. Interestingly enough, the Jewelry associate was also in charge of Piercing Ears! More than I bargained for, but soon after I was piercing ears each day. Interestingly enough, the Jewelry associate was also in charge of Piercing Ears! More than I bargained for, but soon after I was piercing ears each day. I also unloaded trucks, stocked shelves, and did just about anything that was asked of me. I did not enjoy this job all that much, but it taught me many lessons including the lesson that when you are married young, you gotta do whatever it takes to make ends meet! Show less

Perham, MN This job was the perfect fit at the perfect time! I was dating my future wife, and had this crazy idea that I would propose.... However, I found out that Diamonds cost more than the $350 of cash that I saved up under my mattress from coaching baseball. Since I was committed to buying a ring, I figured I would take a construction job that paid well. I did not plan on how hard I would need to work just to maintain my employment! Since I was committed to buying a ring, I figured I would take a construction job that paid well. I did not plan on how hard I would need to work just to maintain my employment! Up at 5 am and home at 7 PM 4 days a week of manual grunt labor (cutting sheets, carrying insulation on the rooftop, concrete spreading, etc.) I thought I had a good work ethic before starting this job, but I was wrong. It took some serious support from my Dad, but I eventually learned the value of hard work and walked away from this position with a great deal of pride and some extra cash in my pocket. Show less
