Provided both direct and indirect counseling to patients as an essential part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Provides alcohol and drug treatment services including counseling, outreach, engagement, intervention, and aftercare services. Counseling services address addiction and mental health disorders and trauma using evidence-based practices(EBP). Works with 18 to 29-year-old men who are racial and/or ethnic minorities, who have sex with other men (MSM), as part of primary counseling program. Aftercare services are provided to all patients in a variety of settings in and outside of the office. Provides HIV per- and post-test counseling and HIV, Hepatitis and other STI risk-reduction services.
