Laura and Ann, aka Sage Advancement, were retained for my organization’s capital campaign feasibility study. Their thorough assessment provided the information we needed to move forward with confidence and gave our organization realistic parameters around which to plan our fundraising. It was an easy decision to also retain them for the subsequent $2 million capital campaign. Sage drove the creation of a compelling case for support prospectus and the production of campaign video which communicated our goals and drove contributions. Beyond this, they planned and carried out several fundraising events, produced digital newsletters and other campaign communications, and managed the campaign’s quiet phase that reached almost 80 percent of our campaign goal. It is important to note that this work was completed during the COVID pandemic. That Sage was able to pivot and take what is normally an intensive in-person effort, and move it successfully online, is a credit to their creativity, resilience, and work ethic. I am very pleased with their efforts!

I had the pleasure of working with Laura in both her planned giving and major gift roles at The Alzheimer's Association. I would often work with Laura on shared donor relationships and seek her input on donor strategy. Laura is very thoughtful and strategic in her donor relationship work and is also a good leader among peers and staff.

It was very refreshing to work with someone like Laura. She's direct and clear, she pulls no punches yet is supportive of everyone she works with and is very mission-focused. She has a knack for pulling people out of their ruts and getting them to see challenges with a new perspective. Laura always strove to bring out the best in everyone she worked with.
