It is with great privilege that I write to you in recommendation of Fulufhelo Portia Nedouvhada. I have known Fulufhelo since 2014 when I was completing my training for engineering metallurgy at Atlantis foundries. At the time, I had no interest to pursue any further higher learning. With her guidance, motivation, and a passion for education, Fulufhelo convinced me (and many others) to pursue higher learning so that we can be better engineers. It is through her contagious and often charming personality that I enrolled for a BTECH in engineering Metallurgy. In my professional career to date, Fulufhelo’s leadership and mentoring abilities remain undisputed. Her relentless guidance and motivation led to my BTECH to be completed this year. A feat I have never thought I could achieve. Fulufhelo is an extremely intelligent woman. Something I noticed by the extent of her grasp of her birth gifts, numbers and science. Surprisingly, and unbeknownst to some, Fulufhelo is no ordinary engineer; she is also a critical thinker at matters outside of engineering. She is also highly adept at the classics. Her economics and political acumen makes you wish we had more heads of state cut out of the same wood as him, her philosophical insight into matters of morals, ethics and logical thinking leaves one with deep introspection. Simply put, Fulufhelo is a polymath, an all-out intellect. But perhaps most striking is her social intelligence. One would always expect an engineer to be rigid, unapproachable, and sometimes downright impossible. Fulufhelo is the antithesis of this; she is a jovial, pleasant woman. She wears an evergreen smile, even when she presses you for delivering.
